We spent three hours talking with students of the fourth year of psychology at the University of Novi Sad on the topic of reintegration and psychological empowerment of victims of human trafficking. This workshop drew a lot of interest, and there were dozens of questions for Dragana Ćuk Milankov, NGO Atina’s psychologist, and Lidija Đorđević, case manager at NGO Atina.

Students were most interested in the experience of direct work with survivors of human trafficking or other forms of gender-based violence which NGO Atina’s employees have. For us in Atina, this was a real pleasure and a valuable experience in the prevention of human trafficking, as well as in professional exchange with all those who are interested in helping the most vulnerable in our society.
