We have a great pleasure to inform you that NGO Atina has been awarded a project "Supporting economic empowerment of victims of human trafficking through social enterprise Bagel Bejgl" within the Grant Scheme “Development of Effective Community Services in the Area of Education and Social Welfare at the Local Level”.

NGO ATINA conducts a project "Supporting economic empowerment of victims of human trafficking through social enterprise Bagel Bejgl" with the aim to contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth for the Republic of Serbia through strengthening social entrepreneurship and innovative ways of work integration.

Specifically, through this project NGO ATINA works on strengthening and expanding of social business initiative Bagel Бејгл that improves access to work for women and girls victims of human trafficking, gender based violence and asylum seekers.

Within the project capacities of social enterprise Bagel Bejgl will be improved and increased to support the program of economic empowerment and professional training of NGO Atina's beneficiaries, 30 women beneficiaries will be professionally trained and empowered to enter labor market, the client's base of Bagel Bejgl will be increased and general public will be educated about social entrepreneurship through public events and online media content.

The project is funded by The European Union through the Government of the Republic of Serbia Ministry of Finance, Department for Contracting and Financing of EU Funded Programmes.
