Terms of Reference for the Expert to develop a Feasibility study on the establishment of the Local team for prevention and combating trafficking in persons in the city of Belgrade

Project title: “From Harm to Safety: Improving the Protection of Victims of Trafficking (VoTs) in Serbia”.

The project is carried out by NGO Atina, International Rescue Committee. The project has its approval and funding by the Government of the United States.

Recognizing criminal offense of human trafficking in Vranje

Local team for prevention and combating human trafficking organized a training on May 10, 2019, in Medical High School “Dr Isabel Emslie Hutton“ in Vranje, intended primarily for the expert workers and associates of elementary schools and high schools, representatives of the Local team for prevention and combating human trafficking of the city of Vranje, and other relevant actors in charge of early detection and provision of assistance and protection to potential victims of human trafficking.

Support to the victims of human trafficking through assisted housing service

The assisted housing service intended for victims of human trafficking was presented in the Red Cross premises. Assisted housing service is currently the only such licensed service in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
