The Association “Atina” is a women's feminist organization, founded in 2003 in Belgrade with the intent to upgrade the fight against human trafficking and all forms of gender-based violence, improve the protection and position of victims, strengthen gender equality and contribute to wider social cohesion.

The 31st Session of the CCPCJ side event Operationalizing engagement in the Blue Heart Campaign was held online, on May 17, 2022.

The Blue Heart Campaign, supported by governments, the private sector, NGOs, goodwill ambassadors and concerned individuals around the world, seeks to encourage involvement and inspire action to combat human trafficking. All proceeds to the Blue Heart Campaign go to the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children.

Marijana Savic, director of NGO Atina, was among more than 25 distinguished speakers at DCI’s 7th International Conference on Child Rights & Sight held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Yale University. The Conference on Child Rights & Sight is part of DCI’s global initiative to raise awareness of children’s rights and blindness prevention. It is one of Connecticut’s largest international gatherings in the non-profit sector.

The ultimate solution in combating violence is achieving equality

In celebration of women's strength and women's entrepreneurship, and on the occasion of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, a Bazaar "Women's Initiatives in Social Entrepreneurship" was organized on July 30, 2019 at Dorcol Platz in the framework of the project "Support to Priority Actions for Gender Equality in Serbia", implemented by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) with funding from the European Union.
