A day of remembrance, gratitude, and commitment to change
NGO Atina marks 22 years of protecting victims of human trafficking: A day of remembrance, gratitude, and commitment to change
Today, the Atina Association is marking 22 years of existence and work. We want to honor this day in memory of the victims of human trafficking, who are the reason we exist and the driving force behind the Atina.
These 22 years have not only been years of numbers but also years of struggle and hope that never fades. Today, there is no space for celebration due to everything happening in our society and the protests for justice. Still, there is undoubtedly space for gratitude and a reminder of everything we have achieved together.
We thank all those who believe in us and have stood by us all these years, providing us with support, trust, and love. Your strength, faith in us, and dedication give us the confidence to keep moving forward, even when it is the hardest.
Today, every day, we are reminded that human trafficking is not a problem that disappears. It is a problem that requires our collective responsibility and fight. That is why we will continue to believe in change, to fight for a future in which no one will be a victim and every voice will be heard.
Together, we can reach better, more dignified, and nobler days – days when we can celebrate every victory, every step forward, and every life saved.
Thank you for standing by our side and believing in the power of change!
