During their stay in London, NGO Atina’s representatives visited the colleagues from Stars Foundation and became closer acquainted with their work, but also informed about current developments in the field of protecting girls and women refugees whom Atina is intensively working with.

Stars Foundation, founded in 2001 by Al-Dabbagh Group and based in London, is an independent charity committed to reaching 20 million people by 2020. Stars supports local civil society organisations and private sector companies, enabling them to achieve social changes. Their goal is to champion and amplify the efforts of those working on the front line in the fight against poverty.

NGO Atina is the recipient of With and For Girls Award for 2015, through which Atina will work on strengthening its capacities to better respond to the problems girls and women are facing in Serbian society.
